1.50pm Lingfield – Going Native 1pt Each Way (15/2)

Going Native makes her handicap debut today off what looks a fairly lenient opening mark of 68. 1m2f stretched her stamina a bit last time and dropping back to 7f here should suit. With many of those around her in her maidens now rated in the 70s and upwards, I think she could be better than her current rating and Jenny Powell takes off 5lbs today to make life that bit easier.

2.45pm Wetherby – Minella Aris 2pts Win (7/4)

The form of Tom George’s unexposed gelding’s Novice Hurdle win last November is working out well with the second that day going in three times subsequently. Minella Aris made a brilliant start to his chasing career in May with a comfortable 6-length victory. With that experience under his belt he can go on to bigger things this season, taking this contest in the process.

3.55pm Lingfield – Stylish Dancer 2pts Win (15/8)

It looks like it will pay to side with the unexposed three year old in this weak looking contest. Stylish Dancer was pitched into an Ascot Maiden on her debut which was won by Ribblesdale second Mori. A midfield finish at Kempton after that was followed up with a much better effort at Ripon. On Handicap debut here she is open to improvement stepped up win trip and should take a lot of beating.

5.25pm Wetherby – Keep In Line 2pts Win (9/2)

Keep In Line won his first 2 starts over hurdles before being pitched into Grade 2 company on his following three appearances. He performed well in the first 2 of those, beaten under 5 lengths by both Moon Racer and Capitaine. In Handicap company today off a mark of 134 he should prove far too strong.
