12.50pm Newbury – Hell’s Kitchen 2pts Win (11/4)
A big gelding for Harry Fry, Hell’s Kitchen has had just the 5 runs and given his size and scope, was always going to be better over fences. He pulled quite hard on his reappearance but he was entitled to be a bit fresh having been off the track for almost a year. Not given a hard time at all by Barry Geraghty he was only 2 lengths behind River Wylde and I expect him to come on plenty for that run and prove better than a 137 rated horse.
2.00pm Doncaster – Drumlee Sunset 2pts Win (11/4)
Tom George is ticking over well at present and Drumlee Sunset has his first run for his new handler today. He still looks very well handicapped on some of his back form, not beaten far by Mister Miyagi or North Hill Harvey over hurdles and having never finished outside of the top 2 when completing over fences, he is a very solid performer. Ciaran Gethings takes off 3lbs and having gone well fresh the past couple of seasons, Drumlee Sunset can do so again today.
