3.05pm Lingfield – Gifted Master 2pts Win (5/2)
A winner of his last three starts over 6 furlongs including a pair of Listed contests, this is definitely Gifted Master’s best trip despite the versatility he’s shown. He’s been put away since winning his fast-track qualifier in November so will be fresh for this and he’s a Group class animal that I’m expecting to come to the fore today. Kachy is an obvious threat and I’d be surprised if the top two in the market weren’t fighting out the finish, but I think Gifted Master deserves to be shorter in the betting than he is at present.
4.10pm Lingfield – Arcanada 2pts Win (5/2)
It’s hard to get away from Second Thought given he’s undefeated in six starts on the All-Weather, but from his draw in stall 1 he’s going to need luck as he’ll be ridden patiently and could just find himself trapped on the inside. Arcanada has won all three starts on the All-Weather this winter and beat Easter Classic contender Mr Owen last time out. Well drawn in 3, he’ll be prominent throughout and can cause an upset to the hot favourite.
