2.00pm Chepstow – Bombero 2pts Win (7/2)

Soft ground at Chepstow today is ideal for Bombero, who can’t seem to have it testing enough. Two efforts on heavy and two on soft have yielded a first and a pair of seconds, he’s a horse that relishes a test and a further step up in trip today will play to his strengths. His form this season has been encouraging with two seconds on turf and a fourth on the all-weather, the fourth from his last start has come out and bolted up since. His siblings have got better with more racing and there’s no reason why Ed de Giles’ gelding can’t too.
